About
The Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers allows highly-qualified international scientists and scholars who completed their doctorates less than 12 years ago to conduct long-term research projects in Germany. Fellows receive 3,600 EUR per month along with additional allowances for mobility, family members, and travel. The fellowship can be flexibly divided into up to three visits over three years in cooperation with an academic host in Germany.
Who can apply
International researchers from all disciplines (except Brazil) who have completed their doctorate less than 12 years ago, have their own clearly defined research profile, and have a confirmation and recommendation from a German academic host.
