Oppunity

Terms of Service

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Oppunity. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Oppunity is run by Oppunity, a private company in Rwanda and a subsidiary of Sassuo Inc. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Oppunity.

2. What Oppunity is

Oppunity helps you find grants, fellowships, hackathons, accelerators, conferences and other opportunities published by other organizations. We collect listings from public sources, accept listings posted by organizations, organize them, and help you search them, including with AI tools.

3. Listings come from third parties

We are not the organizer of any opportunity listed and are not affiliated with them unless we say so. We work to keep listings accurate, but details such as deadlines, eligibility and amounts can change or contain mistakes. Always confirm the details on the organizer's own website before applying. We are not responsible for an organizer's decisions, programmes or content. A Verified badge means we checked that the organization's account is run by that organization. It is not an endorsement of its opportunities.

4. AI search and match scores

Our AI search only recommends listings that exist on Oppunity, but its summaries are generated automatically and may be incomplete or imperfect. Match scores and the listings we hide because you may not qualify are based on what you and the organizer have told us. Treat both as a starting point, not professional advice.

5. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google. Keep access to your email secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in to your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Give accurate information and use one account per person.

6. Plans and payments

  • Browsing listings is free. Paid plans add more AI searches, early access to new listings and other features shown on our pricing page. New listings are shown to paid members 2 days before everyone else.
  • Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Whop, which acts as the seller of record and handles billing, taxes and receipts.
  • You can cancel at any time from your Whop membership settings or the link in your dashboard. You keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Deleting your account ends any paid membership straight away.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices or plan features. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

7. Organizations

If you create an organization or post listings on Oppunity:

  • You confirm you are allowed to act for that organization, and that its name, logo and website are its own.
  • Your listings must be real, open opportunities, accurate when posted, with an apply link that leads to the organization's own application. No fake or misleading offers, nothing unlawful.
  • You remain responsible for your listings and for the opportunity itself. You let us show, format, summarize and share your listings, logo and organization details on Oppunity, in our emails and in search engines, for free.
  • We review listings from organizations we have not verified, and may edit them for clarity, reject them, close them or remove the organization, including Verified ones, if these terms are broken.
  • Posting is free today. If we add paid options, they will be optional and clearly priced.
  • Organization owners decide who is on their team. Owners and editors can see the organization's listing stats.

8. Fair use

Do not scrape, copy or resell our listings in bulk, try to get around plan limits or early access, interfere with the site, pretend to be someone else, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts or organizations that do.

9. Our content

The site design, software, descriptions we write and the way listings are organized belong to Oppunity. Listing details belong to their organizers.

10. Limits on our responsibility

Oppunity is provided as is. We do not guarantee that any opportunity is available, accurate or right for you, that your application will succeed, or that the site will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, missed opportunities or applications, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will tell you by email or on the site. You can stop using Oppunity and delete your account at any time from your settings.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, and its courts handle any dispute that we cannot settle together.
